“‘Feet bruised by miles travelled looking for myself and I need help’ - I wrote that when I was nineteen and held onto it for almost a decade until we wrote a song that felt like it could be the vehicle for this feeling,” shares vocalist Zach Williams.
He continues: “This song is about getting knocked down and refusing to stay down; knowing you have what it takes to get back up no matter how far, hard or often you fall.”
About Dead Eyes:
Dead Eyes' brand of metal-with-a-message has been spread across the globe by the DeadKru, a community that grew with the band as they progressed from their home studio to sharing stages with August Burns Red, Hands Like Houses and Cane Hill.
Echoing out of their hometown of Baltimore, the message is loud and clear; this community is done suffering with the injustice, hardship and doubt we experience on a daily basis, we're standing up to the voices that tell us not to get back up when we’ve been knocked down. It’s time for change, it’s time for a break in the current.
