We saw Parmalee was hitting the local casino, Tioga Downs Casino Resort (Nichols, NY) and couldn't resist a night out. Even with the Canadian wildfires bringing heavy smoke and toxic, unpleasant breathing conditions, Much to our surprise, we do not cancel things like we did back in 2020.
The show went on! Fans still showed up by the hundreds, ready to party. Party is what we did- indeed! We started with all the essential songs to get deep in our feels, which honestly was perfect for the way the crowd was feeling that night. Kicking the night off with: Girl In Mine, Close Your Eyes and Only You.
The band shared some heartfelt stories about when they were first starting- an 11k mortgage against the house and song. Then they hit us all with the smash hit: Carolina, with fans singing it right back. Shocked to hear this so early- and what the rest of the set had in store for us. Next up- we had some more dancier tracks and covers including a standout covering Usher's Yeah! They went in a more rock/nu metal direction (instrumetally), making a completley unique cover. One of the best renditions of it we have heard making Parmalee a do not miss band if they are coming to your local area!
